| im sorry this is a long one i recently saw something on cold cases that i think is messed up a woman was raped in her home repeatedly she called the 911 the they took evidence and froze it without testing any of the dna and tried to find a suspect using finger prints but didnt get a match from them the case was forgotten for 7 years the woman saw an article about a rape that was similer to hers she sent the article to the police she later called them and asked if they got it she was told her case was shelved the police wasnt sure if statutes of limitations had passed or not they called the da the person at the da told the cops they think its 8 years but later they find out its 6 so the rapist cant be procecuded for the crime but they did find out from the dna they tested who did rape her i think they shouldnt have to wait for a suspect in order to test dna evidence what do you think? |
