MY POEM.......
Babies Breath
by: Cheryl Ann Lampton
When I was young As all young girls do,
I wished the perfect dream To one day come true,
But as I aged some more That wish, That dream
Was washed ashore Though i tried
And wanted and waited My lifelong dream,
Why am I so hated?, First it was one
Then soon grew to ten, Will I get the chance
To have that feeling again?,
The warmth, the life growing inside
When it was gone,I too, inside died
The sound, The pleasure Will I never Hear,
The pitter the patter A sound oh so dear,
My life will never be complete
Without the sound of another heartbeat
The tiny fingers The little toes
The curious eyes, And the rosey red nose,
The cries in the night, The one most parents fear,
That sweet little cry Would be music to my ears,
That pain that burns So deep in my chest,
That wish, That dream For one beautiful babies breath!
