So I ended my TOXIC 7 year relationship 10 days ago.
I feel great!!
He keeps saying how he didn't appreciate all I did for him and he is making changes in his life. This means less drinking (18 pack of beer a day), gave me money above paying my health insurance and incidentals for the house.
For his 50th bday he spent over $1k on a weeks vacation for us, my 50th I got dinner because he didn't have $$ to go out of town.
So yesterday he surprised me with Luke Bryan tickets for me and my best friend who also just turned 50.
My friends think it's a way for him to weasel his way back in.
I told him I didn't want the tickets, that it doesn't change my feelings towards him. He said I know it was just a nice gesture for all I have done that he never recognized.
So is he trying to weasel back in or just a nice gesture? |
