The rose begins to bloom,
And the hand begins to move.
Rays over the horizon,
And the world is filled with light.
This once bright flower slowly dimmed,
And began to crack.
I tried to stitch it up,
But it never stayed intact.
A wilted rose stained by time,
The second hand slows and soon stops.
Dusk comes with a painful price,
And the stitches still remain.
