I've been trying to refinance my house at the new lower rates, but my income and credit rating aren't so good. I asked my brother to co-sign but he said no. My ex-husband said he would, but his credit isn't great either. So they offered to refinance with his name on the deed, putting me 10k more in debt than I all ready am. The difference in payments monthly goes from $1610 to $1350. I don't want my ex-husband on the title and the rate only goes down 1% with him as co-signer.
So my question is: Should I leave it the way it is? or Should I refinance and possibly lose 1/2 my inheritance to my ex husband? Please give me your opionons, don't get into my brother, even my mom is mad he won't help me! |
