RESOLVE resolve to not resolve in years but in days each one fresh and new a palette of colors unique awaiting the brush to contemplate stirring to life the infinite awake in me the beauty of the day let me paint the world I see splashing words upon the page and letting them fall in rainbows in shadows in the crystal of the eyes ever the word of the poet paints the lives lived and days RESOLVE

The Pictures on this blog did not come through as they did on my myspace blog but if you look in my pet pics he is there! In Memory of Hercules (Mar 8, 1992 - Dec 25, 2006) Protector, friend, companion and family pet I have always bred, owned, rescued, and loved German Shepherds - I was raised with one named Misty from about 3 years old until I was 16. When I married I began rescuing them from shelters and pounds and finding them good homes. Sam and Dominique were two I took in and sheltered that made excellent pets I kept them to their final days. Hercules was different. Hercules was mine from the time he could leave his Mother and raised by me. One of many Shepherd I have owned but by far the one closest to my heart. He never let me take walks alone and made it his job to be at my side every step of the way. He was a great dog both inside and out. Protective and loyal as well as friendly and lovable. I shall miss him very much. Hercules my baby! resting peacefully with his buddy Miss Kitty They hated me to make the bed - I know Kitty will miss him as much as we will. guarding the driveway in his first Colorado Snow His first snow in March 2006 Out walking with Dan Sharing the couch was not an option Hercules the POSER! He seemed to know I was taking his picture! Chasing Rabbits on the ridge Out for our walk on the ridge Herding his turkeys - yes he went whereever they went too - they have already noted his passing Out for a walk in the October 2006 Blizzard - he patiently sat and waited for me while I took my sunrise pictures of our first Blizzard. Still waiting for me. while we played and worked in the snow after the blizzard last week all he wanted was to go back in Asleep on the couch Christmas Eve. He passed during Christmas night sleeping peacefully on his couch. I shall miss him ever so much as will the whole family. My HERCULES - My BABY!

CHRISTMAS DAY IS HERE Doors adorned in wreaths and bells trees aglimmer with lights and balls tinsel strings glittering presents wrapped in ribbons and bows peeking out from beneath the limbs shimmering eyes of both young and old packages named so lovingly squeals of delight come down the hall Christmas's past hung with care captured forever in ornamental history misting eyes with bittersweet memories delicate scents of the Christmas meal scenting the air before breakfast's served the greatest gift of all not under the tree but deep within the heart of you and me the father above sent his son born a man to protect his own the manger scene fresh and sweet there on the mantle now complete as we give as we recieve let us not forget the simplicity of a gift of peace a gift of GOD the gift to us of ETERNAL LOVE and FORGIVENESS DIVINE the gift of JESUS GOD'S ONLY SON Right now this day, I bow my head and say a prayer GOD BLESS YOU ALL MERRY CHRISTMAS too PEACE LOVE and JOY from me to YOU!

Weary Wary Werewolf Dreams weary the man as he seeks his bed flesh and bone dragging almost dead wary is he of the moon full so white closes the window to block out the bright light shuts his eyes lets his body relax werewolf dreams all set to attack the mares of the night run full speed ahead the hour's at hand werewolf dreams rip deep rifts in his chest long hungry claws shred the peace of his bed far away just like the moon running the night stalking souls to devour lost lonely souls in the full moon hour the eyes of the werewolf deep yellow and bold looking and searching for what he not knows the peace of the night a deep comforting sleep for his bone weary being never finding a rest from the beast down within the dreams all tainted his spirit defiled issues demands the wee hours of dawn well underway werewolf wakens shivering cold and shaken the window wide open the chill wind blows so desperate his plight he looks in the mirror sees ripped rifts in his chest horror his heart terror his eyes he walks back to the bed weary wary werewolf dreams long hairs on his pillow and death in his head

A Knock Knock Knocking on the Door the night is deeply dark and slightly chill the winds do growl and howl and blow a transient feel thick in the air children of the night wander everywhere clouds drift past a naked full moon clever ghouls and goblins green flowing white ghosts and black witches brew broomsticks and black cats vampires linger and turn into bats werewolves a clawing ugly beasts mauling they all come a calling candled pumpkins become jack-o-lanterns aglow séances and tarot cards a spooky gathering afoot the hill that leads to the path to the house in the wood a knock knock knocking on the door the sound within a raspy score a wicked witch laughs and cackles with glee wishing you a spook or two the October time of all hallow's eve Samhain Beltain's dark twin to the celtic a most magical night of out with the old and in with the new BOO!

A Demon's Kiss So deliciously dark and menacing feel the breath of his life on mine sucking my soul from between my lips sinking down into my devil's soul grasping hands about my neck a sigh escapes my heart of pitch I live for this my daemon's kiss sweetly dark to compliment this heart of blackened souless bleed not at all a heaven's scent full of scathing nails that stretch a seemless rift from shoulder to hip let the scream within me fall on ears that yield to this wicked call darkness falls on a demon land a smile a breath a deadly kiss from the leader of a demon band
