Throughout history we have had physicians and groups commit research atrosities but in the process made some huge medical advances.
My question is should we not use the data from their research because it violated human rights and if we do use it we've essentially ok their behavior?
Or should we use the data anyways, since you can't change the past or the fact that this research information is useful and can help many others despite how the information was obtained?
EXAMPLES: The Tuskegee airmen, Nazi Dr. Mengele, Etc... |
