Here is the story that I had just finished writing when you & I started talking last night.

Hello Everyone


This week, I want to do something that we've never done before. Today I received a message from our group member Barbara, or some know her as her MySpace profile name of, Sought Out 7. In her message, she shared with me that her son Jeremiah had been injured again in Iraq. Jeremiah was our honored Marine of the week, back in July of this year and in this story, it shared how he had been injured in Iraq prior, in July 2005. I added a message to the bottom of that story from back in July of this year, to bring it to the top of our message board, so it can be easily found again.


'A price for freedom'


Back in 2006, Jeremiah said five of the original 13 in his squad were either killed or wounded so severely that they had to be sent back to the states. "I just want people to know there is a price for freedom. If they take freedom for granted, they take the friends I lost for granted, " he said.


Barbara's message to me this morning struck so hard, and all day, my thoughts kept bringing me back to Jeremiah & Barbara & what today must have been like for her as his mom.


One thing that I want to remind everyone about Jeremiah is that he could have chosen to play sports for college but instead he decided to serve his country. Anyone that knows anything about college sports will appreciate the fact that Jeremiah had offers to play for Division 1 & Division 2 colleges & that is a really big deal folks! Jeremiah fielded offers from Division I-AA Youngstown State and Kent State and Division II Allegheny. He had offers and just turned them down because he wanted to go into the Marines. Scholarships like these are rare and quite special but, Jeremiah wanted to serve his country. It was shared that his initial desire happened after the terrorist attacks in 2001. "After 9/11, it troubled and bothered him so bad about protecting his country, and he wanted to do his part," his mom Barbara had said.


On top of this, this year, this 4th of July, Jeremiah & his wife were blessed with the birth of their baby girl, Hannah, just weeks before Jeremiah returned to Iraq.


Other events that have happened in Jeremiah's life include that he celebrated his 21st birthday several years back, on a plane to Iraq.


So this week, I want to ask that everyone that believes in prayer, please pray for Jeremiah everyday. To everyone that will pray, let's remember Jeremiah & while remembering him in our prayers, let us include all those who are serving or who have served. Many have sacrificed much to serve and many have suffered in various ways for their service. So, this week....let us remember all of them! They have all done so much and have asked for nothing in return.


Look at all those faces we have in our photo section and remember them and remember all our members here who have loved ones that are serving!


God be with Jeremiah and restore him swiftly & be with his family ... God Please Bless them All!


God Please Bless All Our Troops......and Bless All Those Who Love Them! Each have sacrificed in countless, selfless acts to help others & protect & guard our country and its freedoms. God, Please Bless Them All!


So definitely put Jeremiah on your prayer chain...that would be great and his mom would most definitely appreciate that as well.

Hey all, some of you may remember the bulletin i posted for Taylor a few days ago. I just wanted to let ya all know what is going on now. They have put her into a medical induced coma because the pain was just too much for her. She is still on the ventilator but they want to start turning it down slowly to try to get the hole in her lung to close on its own. If not that's ok but could you say at least one prayer for her. Any thing helps. Courtesy of MsTags.com As alot of you already know my son needs a kidney to live...We have been working on this for a long time as it is a very rare decease and the surgery has not been preformed befor on some one with his illness. Now the decease has created more problems for him...His heart has started giving him problems now...In the last 4 months he hs had 2 heart attacks...making it a number of 3 as he had one at the age of 8 also...He is now 25 and doctors say he looks 25 outside but inside he is an 80 yr old man that has takin drugs forever...This is due to medicines to keep him alive over the years...If I dont respond to you here please dont take it I dont care as I do but sometimes my mind is just to scatter to chat with someone...I just keep praying and am asking you to do the same...That is all I have to hold on to....I am going insane...This one is much more than I can handle alone so I call on Jesus to give me strenght to get thru this....Thanks to all of you that take the time to read this and if you have a moment Please leave a comment...I show all this to my son to lift his spirits knowing so many care..Thank you and God bless you all...

(REPOST) First, this IS NOT a Pimp Out. So i sorta expect alot more out of this one, people. A good friend of mines room mate and best friend lost her 2yr old in a terrible accident tonight. All of us, i am sure no loss. But to lose a child, and one so young, is beyond my understanding. Please, click the link below and show all of the love you can. She went back up to the hospital yesterday morning, around 4am, the doctors never checked her, wouldn't even hook her up to the monitors.. She has been in A LOT of pain.. Indescribable, and the doctor said it was all in her head.. Well she got a very nice nurse at the hospital, and she checked her at 11am, and she was dilated at 4cm.. So her nurse immediately hooked her up to the monitors.. I arrived at the hospital at 11:45 and she was already at almost 8cm.. She delivered her baby at 12:51pm.. She had a baby girl.. Sadly to say, she didn't make it.. We aren't exactly sure what happened, because she did have a heart beat, while she was still inside.. Something happened during delivery.. Either she suffocated or she had a heart attack.. We wont know for sure what causes her death until we get the autopsy results back.. My little cousin was transfered to the ICU floor, where she has been listed in Critical Condition.. she is on a breathing machine that breaths for her.. We weren't sure as of last night if she was going to make it, because she was not doing well at all.. They took her into surgery around 3:20pm today.. She had to have her appendix removed, and they washed down all of her organs.. Because she has an infection in her body, some where and the doctors aren't able to find it.. Now she has a cut from right below her breasts, to the bottom of her belly, where they had to go in and clean her out.. They weren't for sure if they were going to have to give her a hysterectomy or not.. Thank God they did not have to give her a hysterectomy... She is still in Critical Condition, and still on the breathing machine.. She is doing better at this point.. She has two drainage tubes on each side of her stomach, to drain any extra infection that may still be in there.. My poor baby cousin, she is only 16 years old, and should NOT have to be going through this.. The really sad thing is, she doesn't even know what is going on.. She doesn't know that she lost her baby, because she was so out of it, and delusional that she hasn't been able to comprehend anything.. Please please keep her in your thoughts and prayers... FIRST I WANT TO THANK YOU FOR READING THIS PLEASE REPOST!!! THIS IS A REQUEST FOR PRAYERS!! YESTERDAY JANUARY 10TH AT AROUND 5PM MY FIANCE SETH WAS STRUCK BY A TRUCK WHILE WALKING ACROSS A BUSY INTERSECTION. HE IS STABLE BUT THEY ARE UNABLE TO TELL WEATHER HE HAS INTERNAL BLEEDING OR NOT..THE TRUCK WAS GOING BETWEEN 40-50 MPH WHEN HE HIT SETH, HIS BODY HAS SUFFERED SO MUCH TRAMA AND IT IS A MIRACLE THAT HE IS ALIVE! THIS IS A REQUEST FOR PRAYERS PLZ!!! HE REMAINS IN ICU (INTENSIVE CARE UNIT) UNTIL THEY FEEL THAT THEY KNOW THE EXTENT OF HIS INJURIES. This is not a Joke contest or anything of the sort. Those of you that know me better than most know I have a Brother over in Iraq. He's my half brother but still has the same blood as me. Tomorrow he is slated to go on a mission. so I'm not asking I'm BEGGING any and all of you that are willing to throw a prayer,blessing or anything of the sort to PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Say one for him. FRIENDS, Please lift up This wonderful person's brother-in-law in your prayers for healing and restored health. Also strength to his family to support him. I JUST FOUND OUT THAT MY BROTHER IN LAW HAS CANCER IN HIS LUNGS, LYMPHNODES, AND HIS ADRENAL GLAND, AND IT CANT BE OPERATED ON JUST INTENSE KEMO AND RADIATION THERAPY. From: Pray Jessiah Comes Home Date: Dec 1 2006 5:28 PM So. I don't even know where to begin. This is hard to write. So many positive thoughts and prayers were said but I am afraid the outcome isn't good. Those that live in Clarksville probably already have the news if they watched today. Jessiah was found in the river. I don't have words. It simply doesn't make sense. I guess there is closure to a certain extent but I can't help but cry. We lost a husband to my sister, a father to his son, a son to his mother, a grandchild to all his grandparents, a cousin, a friend, a family member. Forever we will remember Jessiah in our hearts. Keep praying this is a very very very hard time for Erin, Tracy and the rest of the family and friends. If you live in Clarksville the memorial service will be on Wednesday of this coming week. I don't know time yet though so look in the paper or I will try and find out. There are no words. Just prayers for strength and understanding. Thank you all for your support and prayers. In truth Heavenly Father...this man was a manifestation of you in a lot of ways.You say no greater love has a man that he should lay down his life for another....and we know that he was willing,we also know that he may have.You were the Word and the Word became Flesh...and You as flesh was not here long enough to most of us.You died in a way we didn't expect or want to see. It says to be absent from this body is to be present with the Lord...well,Heavenly Father...the man that came home to you is a Heroe and he deserved the greeting of "Well done,though good and faithful servant."
