Yesterday I posted a mumm about a local school who punished 4th graders,talking at lunch, to sit on the hot blacktop for 10 minutes. Temperatures reached 133 degrees on the black top.
Everyone is ranting and raving over this today. Parents addressed the school with their concerns. They were told one teacher quit and the other was on suspension.
Different people have claimed the children were lying. Others have said it was the choice of the child to sit on the blacktop or grass. They went as far as bashing the reporter who got the story.
Anyway, do you think the outcome was fair or should more be done? |
