"Prince Of Toads" I seem to attract some real strange ones, Not sure how that comes about, They seem like a prince in the beginning, But soon after, they make me want to shout. They aren't what they seem to be, And I find out a little too late. Did someone hang a sign that reads... "Only Toads May Enter This Gate"? Some could have passed the test, If only they'd had the guts to try. But they simply leave me thinking... "This is one toad of a guy!". Then I guess it was your turn, And I should have seen you coming... With your faux fur robe and jacked-up crown, I should have took off running! I'm not one to judge others normally, But you really took the cake. Do I look like a tasty mosquito Flying near a cool blue lake? Wanted
Ok. If you are weighing whether to see Wanted or Hancock....go see Wanted! I loved this movie. It had a two action scenes in particular that were as cool as anything I've ever seen. One was a car chase when Angelina first shows up and meets Wesley and the other was when Wesley goes on a rampage near the end. I wont tell you much more about the movie because it's best watched if you don't know many details but the action is good, the story is somewhat interesting, Morgan Freeman is excellent in the movie and Angelina Jolie is smoking hot as expected. I highly recommend this movie. I think it's been a great summer of movies so far and we still have Batman, Hellboy and a couple others coming up!

First Rule Of Fight Club?
Follow up to my blog about my new job offer. I've attended my first martial arts class to learn the ancient art of swordplay. I get to the venue and there's about 20 dudes there, all really fit and scary looking guys. They're all opening these long narrow bags they've got with them and pull out swords and start swinging them about as a 'warm up'. Our instructor introduces me and welcomes me to the group. He runs through the health and safety rules: "Remember, while these swords are blunted, they're still dangerous weapons. You could easily break bones or smash a skull with one. If you're not fast enough to block a strike made at you, then we might, just might, call an ambulance for you." Once all the guys have started on their practice he comes over to me and hands me a bokken (a heavy wooden practice sword that kinda looks like a katana). Thoughts For Tonight 8-14-08
As I am about to head to bed, a few thoughts have run through my mind that has been parading around on and off the past few days that I have questioned people about that I know, that are couples. How do you share your space? I have been single for so long, and not that I haven't been involved, but nothing has developed enough to such sharing living quarters has been an issue needing to be discussed. If the topic does arise, does one worry about loosing their independence to come and go as they wish? Mabon (pronounced MAY-bun, MAY-bone, MAH-boon or MAH-bawn) or the Autumn Equinox is one of the Lesser Wiccan Sabbats and is usually celebrated around September 23rd, though it can occur as early as the 20th, depending on the timing of the actual Astrological event. The Autumn Equinox, like the Spring Equinox divides day and night equally. However during Autumn, (as opposed to Spring, when the opposite occurs) we begin to see the waning of the Sun more obviously now as the days continue to grow shorter until the Wheel of the Year spins around again to Yule. The various other names for this Sabbat include the Autumn (or Autumnal) Equinox, the Fall Equinox, the Second Harvest Festival, Festival of Dionysus, Wine Harvest, Cornucopia, Feast of Avalon, Equinozio di Autunno (Strega), and Alban Elfed (Caledonii, or Druidic - which celebrates the Lord of the Mysteries). The Teutonic name for this period is Winter Finding, which spans from the Equinox itself until Winter Night, on October 15.

State Of Me
I think that I've reached peace with the fact that there will be no more good days, as I remember them. It has been over a month that I've gone more than a few hours pain free, and now I can't even shake the pain and discomfort for a few hours it seems. To get to that state, I have to take too many Vicodin, and that just makes me sleepy. I used to have a few drinks with them, and that would help, but even that has lost it's luster. Our family has a history of addictions, and I have enough demons in my life, I'm fighting hard to keep medication at a minimum. But I've gotten used to the dull throb, or the knot feeling on the left side of my spine, that never loosens. I've even adapted to sleeping half the night in my bed, and the other half on the living room floor, with my feet resting on a chair, to relieve some of the pressure on my back. Wednesday, I get a shot in my spine. In theory, it will reduce swelling, and reduce pain. It may work, it may not, I don't know any

Hello sun sprouts! Ok, day 5 with no tea (zoomy tea) and I feel great. Finally made my way into the wheat grass hut. Yum/yuck, I drank it down and shot it up, (in the nether region) ZOINKS! ok just wanted to let everyone know that when I rate photos I don't just go through and rate every single one just to get and give points. Not really a rant but an update. Went to the orthepedic Dr. yesterday and I don't have any tears in my shoulder. Bone spurs and inflamation, but no tears. This means no need to go on disability!!!! Which is great because being a commissioned sales person gets little disability. The bad news is, eventually, after rehab is done, i'll be on fubar a lot less... I'll still be on but not as much. As with anything though, there's an upside... I'll be able to afford blings and such for my friends...!!!!
