I toke my son to see Disney on Ice a couple of days ago and we were both pleased by the performance. My daughter just turned 2 and so she would not have remembered this show as much as JJ did. Gosh, he still remembers his birthday from a year ago when he was 3. The night was cold, though but the stadium was full and I was glad to even find a parking space...had to pay like $6 for parking though. Now getting there was not the problem, leaving however was....but I knew some shortcuts so that I would not have to spend like hours of trying to get to the interstate. The show all together, actually was magnificant. It kind of reminded me of visiting good ol' Walt Disney World just like I use to when I was in the army. I hope to one day take my kids there just the same when they are older. All I know is that the show I saw that night was wonderful and even JJ kept quiet during the whole show. He was pointing at the different characters he knew ...some of them I had to tell him who was who though. He most definately knew Buzz Lightyear and his pal Woody. Oh, and the show the toy soldiers put on was awesome too....definately all military. They did a march and song with it that was amazing...mostly the marching on ice was cool. And then after that, Buzz came out of the huge birthday present. Now, that brought back memmories from when I was in the service...wooohoo! And if I would have known that JJ loved something like this, I would have taken him to more shows....although, can't go spendin the money if I don't have it all of the time...oh well.

Okay so I know my daughter's bday is November 15, just three days after mine. Well, today is my birthday, November 12 and we celebrated my bday as well as Sammy's today....woohoo. Sammy got a bunch of new clothes actually as well as some new shoes...she happens to be gettin big feet, it seems. Oh, and not to mention she went potty on the big potty too for me, for the second time. She has progressed so much more than her brother actually, when it comes to pottying on the potty. But her big brother is very smart and wise and really knows what is going on around him. I take him to the new daycare/preschool tomarrow actually. He will be there and Sammy will be with my father, but just this week though. My older sister will be watching her the next week and so forth. Sammy is of course very easy to take care of. Oh, and this week the Disney on Ice will be at the Quest Center. My mom had gotten half price tickets to see the show so I will be taking my son there this Thursday..so much fun. I have never seen an Ice Show before and well, neither has my son. I guess this will be fun for the both of us.
