Dolly is getting a little stronger and moving a little slower, hurricane warning extends from Rio San Fernando Mexico to Corpus Christi Texas, centering on Brownsville approximately. Tropical Storm Warning from Corpus Christi to San Luis pass in Texas and from La Pesca to Rio San Fernando in Mexico. Center of Dolly was located at 110 miles east-southeast of Brownsville, moving at 9 mph northwest. Landfall is expected near the Mexico Texas border about mid Wednesday. Sustained wind speed is 80 MPH, and is expected to increase before landfall. Winds extend 25 miles from center. Pressure is 981 mb. Rainfall is expected to be 6 to 10 inches with some places receiving up to 15 inches. Surge is expected to be 4 to 6 ft. Next advisory at 1 am cdt.

Since TS Dolly is in the gulf may not be on tonight depending on if she stays true to her course or not. With my work I am part of the Hurricane preparedness team, so if she turns north unexpectedly I will be working later than normal, if not I should be here my usual time. Love to All Dr. G

You know when I was younger I had no problem working long hours, or many days in a row, but as we get older, it tends to be monotonous to do so, and really for the most part undesirable. Found this out the hard way after having four weeks trying to make a deadline that was pushed forward from months to weeks, not fun, some of my friends can vouch for that. And this past weekend, after putting in all this time, a weekend off, what to do, where to go. So tired I sat at home, watched TV, read my book and roamed here on the Fu. All weekend long lol. Once upon a time, when I was younger, that would have driven me up a wall. Well, it wasn't really that bad, but the next time I have a long rest, it will be six feet under. Well now, earlier the strangest thing happened to me, was sitting here talking to people and I could swear I smelled apple cinnamon oatmeal so strong like it was sitting on the desk in front of me. This is not the first strange thing that has happened here, about a month ago I felt something pull down on the comforter, well Lacey (my 9 year old dachshund), sleeps on the floor next to me in her own blanket. Think that she had rolled on the comforter, I looked over and was going to pull it up and the comforter was 12" off the ground and she was underneath her blanket. Two night later, I felt some body lay down next to me, turn the lights on, of course there is no one here, turn lights and it happened again. So am I losing it, or there be ghosts here. Stay tuned for more weird stuff (God I hope not, lol)

Why is it that a lot of men on here just keep chasing and yes even stalking women after they say they are not interested, are they that hard headed. And why don't the men say the same thing? Or are they just slut puppies that don't care and think that they are Gods gift to women? LOL. Well Ladies, I apologize for my gender mates, we are not all like that and you guys: GET A LIFE!

well the flying was supposed to be the first entry , but oops. Well most of you know me as care free, but there are things that rub me wrong (yeah right). Like today, driving back from Walmart. It amazes me when people drive this big old truck but haven't a clue how wide or long it is. Person waiting to make a left turn and this truck starts to go around and slams on the brakes. Can't make up there mind if they can get by, on the passenger side is a good four feet more that they could move over. Grrrr. *shakes head* Well, my peeve of the day lol
