Used to be your birthday, then became birthday week, and now it is birthday month. I want to celebrate my birthday year so everyone be extra nice to me. On Jan 1 the next one starts so it is my birthday year.

10 Nov 1775 the US Marine Corps was established, Happy birthday to my fellow Marines past or present once a Marine always a Marine. 11 Nov is Veterans’s Day so Semper Fi to all the veterans.

Sorry for not being here much, had a simple surgery scheduled the 24th that ended up not so simple. Out of hospital now but not able to be on much but will try to get on and return as much as possible.

Memorial Day is a day reserved to honor those who died in service to our country or from wounds while serving our country. It is one of three holidays having to do with military service. For those currently serving it was 18 May Armed Forces Day which has sadly been forgotten in the US, those living and gone who did serve it is 11 Nov Veteran’s Day and those who gave all is Memorial Day.
