Most Sundays after church, a group goes to lunch. Each week the group gets a bit larger, which makes me happy. Yesterday a young lady sat at our table & said she felt led to invite an unhoused person she noticed standing on the corner holding a sign to join us. She not only felt the tug to do so, but she took action. So our group grew by one more yesterday, and his name was John. He was good company & had interesting stories. He was gracious & polite. I didn't even notice John down on the corner, so I was humbled in so many ways, both by John & the young lady who invited him to join us. God, make me more observant & obedient to your leading. Midweek hugs, my friend. I hope you're handling your responsibilities & finish the week on a high note. We've got a weekend that deserves us being free of stress & regret. If you want to swap for LF, I'm happy to do so, however I will running & resetting likes only...and I won't be doing even that for 24 hours. It's Mother's Day weekend, and I will be will my kids & Cait, hiking, eating ice cream & whatever else they have planned for me. Time with my family is my favorite thing ever, so I'll be in my glory.

I hate it when reality smacks me in the face. Most photos of me are selfies, so I picture myself the way I appear in those. A friend of mine took candid photos of me yesterday & posted them on social media. I hope my memory is short lived & I can go back to the confidence level afforded by my selfies. LOL! I hope y'all had a fun weekend, that this week goes smoothly for you & that your confidence is intact. My only update is that Benny goes to the opthamologist on Thursday. I'm truly hoping that I have an option to remove his eye & keep him around for many years. I'm not ready to say goodbye to him. He's only 5, and he's the bestest boy

It's that time of year when I'm outside more often than I am inside. I'm trying to keep up with likes/rates, but otherwise I am not really available on fu right now. If it rains all weekend, I may be around a bit. I hope you're enjoying spring, too! I'm still waiting on the ortho referral for Zeke, and I found out today that Ben has a darkly pigmented tumor on the iris of his right eye. So now I'll be getting an opthamology referral, too. Plus my 3-week motorcycle vacation is coming up in August. This girl is financially strapped right now, but I'm trusting God to provide my needs just as He always has. Life is rarely predictable, but God is always the same. I hope you have a wonderful day & fill your life with kindness & joy until I update my status again. Hugs all around

I really hope you are doing well. Some of my friends are going through some hard times, and it reminds me how important it is that friends encourage & support each other. Things are pretty stable here. I planted fruit trees this weekend & got my water line installed today. It was so much easier than I expected. Today I'm thankful for PEX pipe ;) I appreciate you, and I think you look amazing today :D

A neighbor from up the street stopped by while walking his dog. As we chatted he asked what I like to do in my free time. I told him I stalk people. As a public service, I am spreading the information that World Nake Gardening Day is coming soon. It's always the 1st Saturday in May, which is May 4th this year. I don't encourage public nudity or lustful thoughts, but I do encourage people to be content in their own skin, to get their toes in the grass & hands in the soil and to experience at least one day a year how glorious it feels to be in your natural state in the sun & breeze. God's creation is amazing, and that include you. Go be connected to nature & in tune with your body :)

As I was falling asleep last night, I told myself to stay on track at work. Then I woke up, and the sun was shining, lol. I did pretty well for the start of a new week. I just want to say I'm not thrilled with the new points bonus schedule. I don't fu on Sundays for the most part, and that is now the day with all the boosts I like :/ I went to church, had lunch with friends, then met Sue & two new friends for a day of riding. I had a beer for the first time since last summer, and it was a hazy IPA. SO good on an 83 degree, full sun, full black leather, sitting on an air-cooled engine type of day. I hope you had an amazing weekend, too & that the week is starting out smoothly for you.

Happy Friday, my dear friends! The work I was supposed to do is postponed, so I should spend my work hours cleaning up emails & organizing. I might go outside, pick up more downed branches the crazy wind is displacing or dig some more trench or just about anything that isn't sitting at my desk. But first, I will do what work work needs my attention & try my best to be responsible. The weekly challenge this week is tough. I still need to rate 160 boomerangs. I guess if I stayed on fu more, I'd get it done more easily. If I miss the WC, but I get to ride my motorcycle tomorrow or I get dirty planting flowers, I'd say that's a fair trade. Enjoy today & do a little dancing just to let the joy increase.

I want to thank those who provided tequila recommendations. If I am ever able to arrange a tequila tasting, I'll let you know how it turns out. I've reached that time of the year when all I want to do is go outside & play, which means go do some outside yard/garden chore. Please don't think I'm rejecting my friends here. The call of the wild is just too strong ;) I care about you, but I don't care to spend all my time with my nose stuck in my phone. I wanna be cavorting in the sun & breezes. In the meantime, I appreciate all gifts, bling, abilities, comments, likes, rates & such. I really do! I just can't convince myself to take the time to respond. I thrive in sunshine :) I hope you enjoy spring!

I was alcohol free until I was 46, and I'm still not a big drinker. Tequila is my fav when I do drink. As a newb I fell prey to Clase Azul, That gorgeous bottle with the bell on the top & the super sweet tequila fooled me. That tequila, along with Casamigos, is full of additives. I want to appreciate real, true, agave tequila. So I'm learning. If you can recommend your fav, I'd appreciate it. My list for sippling tequilas: Cazcanes No.7, El Tequileno, Don Fulano, Aretta & Partida Roble Fino reposados. G4 & Fortaleza anejos & for margaritas is Aretta blanco. Thank you!

I see the solar eclipse caused some of you to go crazy. Oh wait! You already were :p It's a new week & the day whose name shall not be mentioned. Happy Friday, all my funky friends! Zeke is feeling better, just from getting the yeast infection in his right ear treated. The x-rays taken yesterday were sent to 2 different orthopedic specialty vets. Now we wait. The boys are happily back together & are enjoying exploring the field this morning. That tells me Zeke is back to his old self. I've got the turn table stacked with really old LPs today. I was feeling way old school. Enjoy your day any old way you choose.

I'm sure it's quite comedic watching me get Zeke out of the house, while leaving Ben in the house. As soon as I touch a leash, the hyper is in full swing. Zeke is undergoing exploratory surgery this morning, while Ben is moping & following my every move. Someone save me from my anxiety ridden dogs, lol. Happy ALMOST Friday, my friends! Can you feel the weekend happy already building?

Hump Day doesn't usually require me to hoof it quite so badly as it has so far today. I sure hope the day is a bit more calm in for all of you. 3 yrs ago, Zeke jumped out my truck window & was struck by the trailer I was pulling, resulting in reconstruction of his leg. For 3 yrs, he has had a non-healing wound on that leg & frequent bouts of not using the leg at all. We were back at another vet yesterday, and I had to spend time on the phone with a couple vets today. Tomorrow we go for yet another x-ray. The culture on the wound is negative every time, so we can't figure out what's up. If his body were rejecting the hardware, the wound would have gotten worse over the years. It seems Zeke is like me, in that his body just doesn't like surgery. I'm praying this situation eventually resolves for the poor pup & for my budget! Yeesh!

Happy NOT Monday, sweet peeps! I still don't have my family straight after LF, but I fix it a little at a time as I have time. My family morphs after every event anyway, as I make new friends who want to keep me around. I still need over 5T points to level...I've needed nothing but points for a couple months now...so if you have some lying around & want to hand 'em over, I'll take 'em. Today is the last war day before the insane cold returns, so when I'm not working, I'll be outside doing something productive...the list is long. I hope you make today exactly the way it suits you.
