A few years back, I was living with a woman, and every night, she'd wake me up and tell me to stop snoring.
One night, at around 2am, I got out of bed to go make a sandwich, and a cup of coffee...
Suddenly, I hear from the bedroom, "Stop snoring!"
So, I stroll down to the bedroom, Coffee in one hand, sandwich in the other, lean against the door-frame, and ask, "What was that?"
She rolled over to face me, and, as she did so, said, "I told you to - Oh! Never mind"
From then on, once I finally got to sleep through her snoring, she never woke me up to tell me to stop snoring ;)
