i've heard this argument/discussion over and over again...
i had a friend call another friend out of name. ( something other than his name ) and he didnt like it so it started an argument between the two of them.
after it was said and done the offender came to me and was fussing about it a bit because he basically heard others call him that before without incident so he thought it was ok.
so i explained to him that " its never whats said to someone, its who says it and how they say it".
of course he argued my point, stated it wasnt right, wasnt fair, etc.
if it was concerning you.
what do you think?
is it whats actually said that bothers you
or
is it who says it that would bother you? |
