Interests
Well, I'm working on a degree in Music Education. So that should say something, but to be more specific, I actually prefer choral conducting to most everything else.
I'm a single parent of two teens - one graduated, one that's still in school. I have 2 jobs - one part time at a restaurant, and one as church choir director (interim).
Other than that, my page and blogs will eventually tell all :D
Movies
Oh....I like movies, but I have to be in the right mood to sit for 2 hours.....unless I have incentive :D The ones that come to mind are:
LABYRINTH, EXCALIBUR, POTO, Sense & Sensibilities, Pride & Prejudice, Sybil, Frequency, Regarding Henry (most anything with Harrison Ford...LOL); Dances With Wolves, Gone With the Wind, Rumor Has It, Folks, Notting Hill, - I like a lot of different kinds of movies - comedy, fantasy, romantic comedy, drama...I guess it depends on the quality. I just don't care much for horror films. They're usually pretty dumb.
Idols
The lady above is as close to an idol as I get (along with the gentleman below). She was my cousin. She died in 1914, when she contracted pneumonia on her farewell tour. She was the first American Diva - an operatic soprano.
If you don't recognize this fellow, I hope you will look up and read some about him. He was a FASCINATING man, and one worth knowing about. Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain.
