9-11: A day many of us will never forget. 9-11 started out as any other day. Children of all ages got
up and were off to school, their parent(s) off to work. Normally, people in Minnesota wouldn’t want
to hear about things that were happening in New York. On 9-11, all that changed. Everything was
“normal” on 9-11. Everything changed. Around 10-11 a.m., our lives were changed forever. The
streets of Minnesota were busy with cars and pedestrians alike. Morning shows were on, and people
seemed happy as they bustled about. Then he struck. News flashes appeared on the TV as the news
stations were informed of what had happened. Time seemed to freeze as people stared in disblief
at the TV screens. “Twin Tower struck by plane”, “There seems to be a plane accident involving one
of the Twin Towers”. They all said it was an accident, but it “never” made people wonder. Why would
a plane be flying so low? How could the pilot not have seen the Twin Towers, one of the tallest
buildings in the area? The main question that arose was “Who?”
