A poem I wrote called "SHE"
I wrote this when I was feeling down.
SHE
She tires of the way she is treated.
She longs for the days of before.
She cries for the lost love she never had.
She treads lightly along the path leading nowhere.
She hugs herself and wallows in her self-pity.
She watches the world around her pass by.
She is an outsider among a world of those who snub her and her beliefs.
She throws herself on the mercy of God.
She wants to end her life, as no one will miss her.
She has nothing to offer to herself or to anyone.
She is lost among the stars of which she will never be a part.
She is in agony over her life as it is.
She cannot fathom peace or love, as she is deaf and dumb to the world around her, and they are to her the same.
She will never know what it's like to lose something she never had.
She only has her naked self to present to no one but God.
She end's her life of suffering and pain, and un-love, only to find
that she is loved.
She is, loved by God, above and only he can show her the way.
She begins again anew.
She has no recollections of before.
She has a clean slate.
She will succeed in everything within her grasp.
She is!
