I wonder what Christmas will be like this year?I lost my job so I wasnt full of Christmas cheer.Still I made some good food for the kids to snack on as they and their friends decorated the Christmas tree.
As the children put the ornaments on the tree I remembered that these held special memories.The Baby's first ornament, Brandon's first ornament that he'd brought home from preschool.He was so proud of that crazy reindeer made from a clothes pin.My Grandmothers old ornaments that are so worn with time that the paint is nearly gone.
There may not be lots of presents for the boys this year on Christmas Day, but...We have each other, theres plenty to eat, a warm place to sleep, shoes on our feet.There are some who wont be so lucky, so yes i have plenty to be thankful for.As I turn out the lights I notice one little present under the tree,with a tiny bow.The tag reads:This is my present to you,Merry Christmas
