Darkness, The camera faces the ceiling of a small room shifting in and out of focus (drunken appearance)
Narration: So this is my life. 4 am staring at the ceiling of a room wrought with chaos. As i sit here, i think of all the things i dont have. Not material wise, but in my head. Hope, Aspiration, Certainty of a future of grandiose proportions. All my life i have had this feeling that i was something special. That i was meant to accomplish some grand feet to justify my existence. I guess Harvard forgot didnt receive that memo. So now i am forced to contemplate a life filled with monotony and the mundane and i just want to disappear.....

The camera zooms about the Atlanta Skyline, focusing on typical scenery, (Cnn Center, The Fox, etc) as if it were searching.....
Music: the 1920's pop version of the song "Last Kiss" (playing from the radio)
The camera Zooms into the main character of the series. Zeda, a fourteen year old African African American Youth sitting contemptibly in the back seat of a 95 ford escort. In the front sits an older African American woman. Heavy set wearing glasses.
The car pulls into a gated building with a rainbow-shaped bronze arch connecting its center. Its motto reads " Crossroads: Safe passage for teenagers in crisis"
The case worker turns the radio down, rolls down the window and reaches out of the car window and presses a button,
Out of the speaker box comes a muffled voice
receptionist: "Crossroads"
Caseworker(Mrs.Sims): Yes, I am here with a new intake
a loud tone rings and the gates open pulling the rainbow apart.
Camera angles above the car watching it pull into a handicapped parking spot.
back inside the car View from the child the Mrs.Sims places her arm on the headrest of the passenger seat. looks back at the child
Mrs.Sims: If you get kicked out of here, You're going to bootcamp
Mrs: Sims opens the car door And struggles to get out.
camera faces the two as they close the doors and walk towards a two flight concrete staircase lined on the side with red brick.
camera view again from the child's perspective focusing on the overweight (240?) womans struggle to climb the stairs, she is visibly out of breath but not wheezing.
when the two reach the top wide paned view of the red brick building with white pillars, a welcoming porch lined with bushes on either side lining the exterior of the building.
the case worker presses the call button and the doors open
