| For #NationalComingOutDay I want to recognize the people out there who aren’t out or cannot come out for whatever reason. You are still valid and you owe your identity to no one but yourself. We see you and love you. Oh and many of you already know this (and have possibly known for years), but I am bi or pan sexual. I honestly don’t know yet. I have known for many years and was just never really honest about it until...grad school? Being “the woman in the wheelchair” is othering enough. Why would I want to add to that? But NOT adding to it didn’t make that any less true. SO, I am a bi or pansexual woman (you will probably know which when I do) in a wheelchair whom Jesus loves...alway has and always will. Thanks to the people reading this who already know and love me. I feel safe to be all of me because of you. And for the record, He and I love you, too. I hate that it took so long to say all this to everyone out loud. (Most of the people I’m hiding from are Trumpers and Trumpettes...and to be THAT |
