So many hath fallen to the wolves of time.The once-proud metal hordes are diminished.For every kiddie-safe,numetal pustule on the sonic landscape,it seems we lose stalwart veterans?That's blasphemous.Makes ya wonder,would the scene suck if,say,Quorthon,Chuck Sculdiner,or even Cliff Burton survived?Moot question;we'll never know.But we can be thankful for the oldguard still standing.Treasure the ones who fight against radio-friendly pap:even the shitty bands are better than mainstream.And we still got Maiden,Demons And Wizards,hell,even Cradle Of Filth.All is not lost.Not quite yet.Though I still want a reunited Carcass,while the members are still alive.
