Well, every year, our family traditionally has some black-eyed peas at the start of new year for good luck. Since I am not around family this year since I have to work, work is having some black-eyed peas brought to them so that we can all, quite hopefully, have some good luck this year. The peas are already started their cooking. Rotel tomatoes already added. Before they are considered done, I am going to add some corn to it as well since I am not sure how many folks are actually going to be at work tonight.
