My mom's visiting for the first time since I moved here a year and a half ago. It's been nice sorta, but sometimes she's so moody that I can't deal with it. She allergic to our cats too, so that sucks, and I think she considers it a personal offense on her that I got them even tho I know she's allergic. It did prevent me from getting them for a little while, but then I stopped to think about how often she visits, and she *rarely* does (obviously since this is the first time since I moved). If she'd have made an attempt earlier I might have opted to not get them. Actually, even this time she didn't make an attempt, I came up with the idea and flew her down here. I just asked her to tell me when she could clear her schedule (no small task tho, I realize).
Anyway, we're driving home Wednesday and I hope it doesn't suck...I thought about staying an extra week after new years but my family is so goddamn depressing, I think I'll come back to where I have control over my life.
