Suddenly,the silence of our passion was broken.
She gently whispered in my ear,
“ Not just now my love, lets not rush, after all,
we have all night.
I slowly kissed her lips once more.
I gently laid her back on the pillows we had
laid on the rug in front of the fireplace.
I noticed the fire, was slowly glowing dim,
And need my attention, and so did the one
laying beside me.
So I started t put another log on the fire,
She pulled me back to her side,
And gave me the most passionate kiss
of the evening so far. SweetPoison on my lips,
she had never tasted so good.
After regaining my breath,
I continued tending to the fire in the fireplace,
yet not forgetting the fire by my side.
I poured us a glass of champagne, and returned
to her side. We sat on the rug, my arms around her,
her resting her head on my chest. Watching the flames
of the fire grow hotter and hotter. So was my temperature.
I suggested for her to let me bathe her.
She turned to me with a smile and softly said,
“I would like that very much”.
