Good Morning. Am I the only one that wants all Credit/Debt Card Card readers to be the same or what? I mean come on already. No matter if you do a Wally world or major store chain why not have them all the same. The Midwest is a haven for Martin’s Stores, but it seems Martin’s you have to tell the cashier whether it is credit or debt and you can’t slide it thru before they allow you too, apparently they have to punch in your blood type or your first born name and sex… Now it is not so at Wally World or Miejers you can slide your card thru and be clear all the way until the receipt comes slowly out. Here is another store if you have them near you that even does it a different way. It is Gordon’s a bulk food minimum frills but bulk quantity is their motto and mostly work in the catering industry but do sell to the public. Their card reader you have to educate. You must push Debt or Credit first, and similar to a Lowe’s it also has to be educated where as it will prompt you on various questions… by the time you are finish pushing buttons you almost feel like you should have gotten paid for all the work you did just buying their goods. If Wally World’s and Meijers card readers are smart enough to figure out your debt card is debt first credit second why can’t all card readers comply? Then you will always get the cashier with the tude! You can’t run that yet! I have to prompt you… I am like prompt me… darling I was prompt enough to choose this store and buy these goods so I dooly think I can prompt my own self very well. Here is the deal too… if a cashier at one location where their readers are do it yourself with minimum educating skills on the readers do they complain when they choose a location that has to be cashier coded and approved to use your card… Gas stations are also a hoot… these pay in advance ones some you can slide you card in any way from Sunday and other stations you have to say the pledge of allegiance prior to sliding your card in and also can only slide it one way… How about the see attendant… If I wanted to see the attendant I would have paid inside anyway! Oh I am on a roll…Here is one… so you pay with a check… sometimes stores only allow you to write the check for 10 or 20 dollars more, but if you debt and say yes to cash back… you can break the bank in how much you care to receive back… why is that? Isn’t checking and debt accounts coming out of the same pile or lacko pile of your own checking account? Here is another… this may just be a banking issue… why does a gas station card reader or grocery store reader allow a debt to be placed for more then you have in the account? This is a Mandy fallacy, she always plays the numbers… running her checking account down to where…ooops!!! I guess I debt’d for more then I had available… This may be crazy…but aren’t those machines there to scan if funds are available before approving? Hmmm I know they tap the bank account, but can’t Mr. Card Reader Computer and Ms. Bank computer agree on what funds are available with pending subtractions? …. Holey Moley I guess I ranted and raved beyond repair today… and it’s a Friday, bad me! So I best leave on a good note or a joke…how about this, our three candidates for Presidency this year, they are a Joke… I think I have seen them in a starting Broadway production called the three stooges… ok…ok I am done… I am jokeless but not heartless, so let me start by wishing you and yours a marvelous be it fantastic weekend. Oh yeah first night of golf was last night and I was on fire…37 for 9 holes yeah me! I think I could almost…naaaa I best just stay amateur.
