INGREDIENTS:
* 1 pound ground round or chuck
* 1 package lasagna noodles
* 1 teaspoon garlic powder
* 12 ounces ricotta or cottage cheese
* 12 ounces tomato paste
* 12 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
* 8 ounces smoked sausage, diced
* 1/2 cup chopped onion
* 3/4 cup water
* 1 tablespoon parsley
* 2 teaspoons sugar
PREPARATION:
Break noodles into one inch pieces and cook in boiling salted water until slightly tender. Drain. Brown ground beef, onion, and sausage in a frying pan. Grease slow cooker or spray with non-stick cooking spray.Pour all ingredients into the slow cooker and mix thoroughly. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours.
