Alright, I feel so sappy and lame just writing this dribble... but I'm at a really weird point in my life where I want advice. I'm usually the very affectionate type who doesn't like to be single for any long period of time... not that I need to define myself by being dependent or being depended on, but I almost feel a need to share my affection. I've recently had my life turned somewhat upside-down (lost my house, band breakage, a bunch of close friends moved out of state) and absolutely need to get out, get my mind off of things, have fun, and meet new people. In my quest to find new friends, I can't help but look for people with common interests (who just so happen to be female and attractive... hmmm)... should I even be considering dating as a possible scenario or trying to stay single for a while?.. I mean, I've given up on waiting for Ms. Right (she's not going to stroll along if I don't go looking for her), but I've had too many Ms. Right-Now's turn into Ms. "Good God, why'd I even talk to her"s... would it be unfair to start dating somebody while my life is somewhat chaotic? Does that make me Mr. Wrong?.. or am I completely disqualifying myself just by asking this sappy mumm?
only 2 options?!?.. Dammit! Please comment your thoughts/suggestions. |
