Sharkfin's blog: "Chaos"

created on 10/03/2006  |  http://fubar.com/chaos/b9661
Good Morning. I took yesterday off work due to the fact I have 200 hours of un-used vacation time and I stop accruing Vacation time at the 200 hour mark so not to get screwed out of it, I decided to burn a few hours. And it isn’t like there is nothing to do at home…yuck Vacation and staying home is like working that other job…it turns into a Stay-Cation Stay home and work… Have you noticed…I am sure you have so why in the world did I ask it as a question form…I hate it when I argue with myself…ok here is the deal. So many goobers now days due to myspace, and other venues plant videos, pictures, stories what have ya, drawing attention to themselves. Like the guy who videoed himself with a rocket sticking out of his pants and his friend lit it off…causing burns to the backside…whether or not the actual end photos of his burn buns was real or not the rocket surely was real. How about those countless number of photos showing drunk and lewd behavior of those goobers hurling up their lunch, dinner or what have ya on the net as well…most are either entitled “Priceless” or “Darwin Award” and most are at best amusing because I treat them like people who have their videos on America’s Funniest Videos. I mean who tapes a roofing project? Who tapes Idiots three times bigger then a swimming pool jumping into it… Who tapes “The Railing Meets the Crotch inhabitants” The list’s go on and on…but today’s little ditty is from the Great State of OHIO. Where fast food workers used MySpace as means of getting fired. XENIA, Ohio — Burger King Corp. said Tuesday it had parted ways with an employee who was recorded taking a soapy bath in a utility sink in one of its restaurants in a video that ended up on his MySpace page. The nearly four-minute video, which was posted online Thursday, shows the man taking the bath to celebrate his birthday. In the video, shot by another worker, the employee refers to himself only as "Mr. Unstable" and appears to be naked. Timothy Tackett, 25, told WDTN-TV in Dayton that he is the sink-bather and that he made the video for his MySpace page. The video had been removed by Tuesday night. Tackett said he regretted taking the bath because it led to the firing of the employee who did the recording, as well as the restaurant's shift manager. Burger King Spokeswoman Denise Wilson said earlier Tuesday that two employees involved in the incident were fired and a third quit. She declined to identify the employees or say whether the man who took the bath quit or was fired. Tackett said he was fired. A message left by The Associated Press for a Timothy Tackett in Centerburg was not immediately returned. Now I clearly understand Burger King’s fast and without blinking an eye knee-jerk reaction to sever ties with the idiot and his video crew, and I guess I can also see, the shift manager had to have some idea that the kitchen had turned into a spa even if they were on break…but, the idiots and I have to call them that because even the faintest of thoughts had this not turning out to their benefit. Like I said…it’s like those tapes we all have seen that just miraculously happen happened on AFV. Oh well sorry about yesterday not alerting anyone that I was off work…and with that said I will wish you a fabulous day and fantastic weekend. A huge hug and many pats Mart
