In my
Just Friends blog posting,
THE FREAK
@ CherryTAP mentioned in his 2006-12-03 22:50:20 comment, "well i think finding that magical person, just comes naturally, it not something to look for its something thats usually there for a bit but you don't notice it then one day your eyes are just open to the reality of it."
He is oh so right. In the Bible it mentions that "Seek and you shall find", but that is appropriate in seeking out God. People that you find may resemble God-like qualities, but they are not God indeed. As such, a different approach must be taken -- "Don't seek and ye shall find!" (hee heee....)
As ironical as it seems, that new philosophy is oh so true.
I have been on the internet for a long time - chatting through ICQ, Yahoo, AOL, MSN, and others (so many I got Trillion set up to manage my IMs at one point in time). I love meeting people and talking; it comes as no surprise that I would fall in love with chatting with others online, albeit I prefer the one on one chatting to the chat rooms. It just gets so chaotic in the chat rooms and seeming so impersonal. Through Yahoo Personals, I happened to have found my last husband. I was lucky. Most people aren't so lucky; however, sometimes people close doors before they can open due to their own fears of the unknown. Part of the unknown factors is the communication amongst the social communities on the internet.
With you being here already on CT, it is significant that you have opened up to the possibility of, at the very least, making new friends on the internet. If something more happens that forever changes our lives in a very positive way, it is (for most folks) an added plus benefit.
