OPERATOR – Eastwood Insurance, how may I be of service?
CHRIS – Yes, I saw your commercial on television this morning, the one where you say, “No problem.” And I thought this might be a good time to look into getting some insurance on my automobile.
OPERATOR – We’d be happy to help you, Sir. Do you currently have auto insurance?
CHRIS – Well, I had some insurance, but I was a little unlucky.
OPERATOR – I understand. How’s your driving record?
CHRIS – I guess I have a couple of movers – ran a light and a speeding ticket.
OPERATOR – Any other violations?
CHRIS – Ummmmm, maybe a DUI, but that was a while ago.
OPERATOR – Perhaps we should check your record. May I have your license number?
CHRIS – Sure, BFL175
OPERATOR – No Sir, I mean your driver’s license number.
CHRIS – I don’t have it with me.
OPERATOR – Could you get it and call me back?
CHRIS – They took it.
OPERATOR – Who took it?
CHRIS – The judge. Maybe you could look it up for me.
OPERATOR – You don’t have a driver’s license?
CHRIS – They took it.
OPERATOR – Sir, I can’t sell you insurance if you don’t have a driver’s license.
CHRIS – But what if I have an accident?
OPERATOR – You shouldn’t be driving if you don’t have a license.
CHRIS – I thought you guys were going to help out a bit.
OPERATOR – If you don’t have a license, there’s not much I can do.
CHRIS – Well, you’re no help at all.
OPERATOR – There’s really not much I can do.
CHRIS - So that stuff about “no problem”, that was just a bunch of crap.
OPERATOR – I’m sorry sir.
CHRIS – You know what you are? You’re a disappointment. That’s what you are.
OPERATOR – Sorry.
CHRIS – You should be ashamed of yourself.
