My best friend just lent me a book today, and I sat down and read it cover to cover without even taking a pee break, it kept my attention so rapt.
It's called the Celestine Prophecy, by James Redfield. a work of "fiction", It explores a new sense of...spirituality, I guess. It's about an ancient manuscript that was unearthed in Peru, and it delves into nine insight of life, insights that every human on earth is predicted to grasp 'sequentially' (word used a lot in this book) from insight to insight to insight and so on. first it deals with the restlessness each human feels, the unexplainable want to do something, they just don't know what it is, and it goes into the coincedences of life, how sometimes they really do feel like destiny, like deja vu, and how they really may mean something. seriously, if ever there was a last book to be read on earth, it is this one. Celestine Prophecy has literally changed my life and the way I see the world. It's given me a new source of comfort in my own brain, it's so enthralling and beautiful-I've never had a book hit closer to home. I love it!!!
Please, at the first chance you get, please please please get this book. If you have even one iota of intelligence, This book will strike you somewhere.
