Okay, so in about a year or so I will get to be able to take two weeks of vacation time at my work. My kids have not seen their father's family/my ex husband/ in over two years and I thought it would be a good thing to let them see the kids.

My ex however claims that I can not do that unless there is an additionional written aggreement to the divorce decree stating that I can take the kids out of state. (My ex is in the military and is stationed in another country)

He claims that if I were to take this trip to MA from NE, they have a right to claim kidnapping against me, even if I have the physical custody of the kids and we share joint custody.

I have read thru the decree to see where it states that the kids have to stay in only NE with me, the plaintiff, and I do not see anything where it states that. I do know for certain though. The kids do need to see thier other family members.

So for the mumm:

Am I wrong to take the kids to MA due to what my ex says(Yay) or am I right to let the other grandparents enjoy the kids for awhile(Nay)?
