As I sit and gaze at the stars up above the San Diego sky
I think of you and wonder if you are looking at those same stars...
As I walk along the beach and listen to the waves crashing upon the shore
I think of you and wish you were here walking beside me.
As I sit and look at world and feel the soft grass beneath me
I stop and listen to the breeze blowing through the trees....
I think of you and wish you were here with me sharing
the quiet moments and the beauty God has given us.
As I lie down on the grass I look up to the heavens
and see the puffy white clouds like huge cotton balls
scattered across the sky making believe each one is something
different. I think of you and wonder if you are seeing the same thing.
Sometimes I don't have to be doing anything and I think of you...
Some of my favorite times are spent thinking of how much
you mean to me and the special times we have shared.
They all mean so much to me and wouldn't trade those moments
for anything in the world...
So if it’s ok with you...when I see these
special things that God has given us...I will think of you.
