This truly is not inspired by any requests I've received.
A friend pointed out some years back that he used his blog to tell a group of people what he'd otherwise have to find each of them, tell each of them, individually. I don't like having to word this disclaimer in each friend request I make (and it applies to those I make, not v.versa), especially since if it's somewhere beforehand (here, say) it's clear I didn't just make my "but", "and", ... up just for the person I'm speaking with (though I do edit these...)
So...
If I make a request of you and describe it so- friend-requests included... it's a request. I understand an apology as courtesy for turning a request down but- if I may?- it really, really confuses me, in the past even moreso, it's tended to feel like the person felt I did not know I was making a request.
(Ok, that sentence has horrible circuitous grammar, but eventually I'll fix it... for now, going to do musicstuffs, somewhat related to the blog, soon to be at a second-showing motion picture house near you!)
