friggin shout box noise

how the FUCK do u turn off this god aweful shout box msg alert noise thingy..i cant even listen to my goddamn music cause when i turn it up...the noise gets ear defeningly loud..so now tell me damn it PLZ...how do u turn off this stupid sound.
