i know i ramble all the time that i don't have a perfect body.. i mean yeah i know who does?
I was reading my magazine and its interesting this study that they did. and this has been the only magazine i know that has been trying to get girls to appreciate what they do have and try to focus more on what they have on the inside.
but i want you to see this percents.. its interesting not many people really think about this stuff. you always think your alone in this fight with yourself.
40% of teen girls say that when they look in the mirror, all they see if their flaws.
I know when i was in school i felt my image was judge everyday.
72% of teen girls say yes they know every day at school their appearance will be judged.
38% life would be better if they looked like the celebrities in the magazines, movies, or on the tv.
28% said they have felt so bad about their body image that they've considered starving themselves or refusing to eat.
22% girls said yes They would consider getting plastic surgery to change the way they look.
and i have to admit I have felt this way... im not gonna say i haven't.
sooo what can we do about this? ... im not really sure. but something has to be changed.
