Dust to Dust
My soul has crumbled
My heart has withered
Life has passed me by without a glance back
Not a second to doubt
I have given up on all that should matter
The tears that cascade from my eyes
Are now meaningless to my thoughtless mind
Kill me
Take my life
Make it easy
To never see the moon rise again
My heart aches
To the point where my mind has reached insanity due to the agony
It's too much to take
I have given up on this world

As flower petals crumple,
The skies turn cold
My universe has become empty
