Nas- Hip-hop is dead is a great album another Nas classic with intellectual thought provoking songs and a mix of hood and social issues involved this album has what it takes to put NY rap back on top. Nas shines throughout the whole album but there are a few tracks where is just over the top and crazy with the flow he keeps his listners wanting more and more. Tracks he shines on the most are "you can't kill me", "black republican" ft Jay-z, "blunt ashes", and "hustlers" ft The Game and Marsha Ambrosius. Overall I give this album 4 1/2 mics out of 5.
Young Jeezy- The Inspiration Jeezy picks up where he left off with thug inspiration 101. Jeezy is back with dope laced lines, more trapping, more hood shit than ever. Jeezy might not be considered a lyrical rapper but he should be. Lyrically with every song on this album Jeezy grows pound for pound Jeezy is one of the best in the south. He shines on songs like "i luv it", "the realest", "bury me a g" and "mr. 17.5". Overall I give this album 4 out of 5 mics.
