Last big performance…
Yesterday was Jesus’ birthday, and God came to him and asked him what he wanted for his B-day. Jesus said he wanted to throw the party of all parties like they do every year, but this time he wanted a little something different. Jesus said “Father we have some top notch performers up here and we have had some kick Ass parties but what I want this year is I feel like I need a Little Rhythm, maybe a little Blues, Something with some Soul to it. With a bit of Funk on the side for good measure.” “Father I want to go Oldschool!”
God Look down on earth and thought for a minute. Then he said “Son I have just the man for the Job.”, and in a Flash, James Brown was gone.
The God Father of Soul will be missed but he was called to play the Biggest Party there is to perform at.
