| I live with my children in an old house that I rent. My daughter who is almost 2 had her lead levels tested at her last dr's appt and they came back high. She got retested and they were higher still. I have a nurse coming to my home to discuss this with me. Next step is to have someone come into the house and look for places she could have got the lead from. Obvious to me is the paint. The house was built in 1958. Old houses=lead paint. So my question is should I give my landlord warning as to what is happening? That he will probably have to scrape and repaint everything. Or should I wait and see what the investigator has to say? |
