I look deep into the pool of the universe
and see my reflection staring back at me
I can not know that all I have foreseen
has been created by my will and energy
My mistake has always been that I
thought destiny was a face, that choices
were a prequisite of this life. I find now
that nothing is real, all is a dream.
Each evening I close my eyes
and each morning I am reborn
into a new and fresh dawn of life
to pick and choose my way again.
