I have been all over the world from Europe/Korea/Saudi Arabia/Iraq etc. I had been to NYC twice before. Once when I was a child at age 5 and then one other time where I was in and out within hrs and never really had a chance to move around the city as I so wanted.
During this business trip I must say I experienced quite alot. I ventured out to the roads of NY on foot and then in Cabs. People NY is like a 24/7 movie that never ends. There is ALWAYS something ging on and people are always on the streets in droves regardless of time.
The people there were nice and helpful and if you go you gotta hit the corner vendors for the Lamb Guyros. And in the Morning hit the corner vendors for coffee and donuts or Bread.
I wish these guys were outside my house in the morning and at lunch time. I cant say enough good things about NY.
I suggest everyone make the trip sometime or another.
While there go to Groundzero and pay your respects to those lost and visit the 9-11 memorial. I dont care if you think your a BAD ASS Guy or not you will break into tears and the emotion will over take you. You will get a Knot in your thoat and the pride of being an American will overtake you completely.
Save the money and make the trip it will be an experience like no other. I promise.
