So my daughter is like a hill fairy and I am the little hobbling gnome....ugh! I was telling her that the hill in question is very steep and that its not an easy walk..in fact the only other time I chose to walk it I had the puppy drag me up it. She said "pffffft...lets walk that hill mom." Of course I was hoping it would rain for the rest of the year so I could put it off. Damn sunshine!!!!
So my little bed bug decided she didn't like being forced out of bed at 1pm and tricked me neatly. I am telling you something is wrong with me...I am not on my game, but thinking I was cornered, I agreed to walk the darn hill.
PHOOEYYYYYYY!! That damn hill is at least half a mile long...which as a younger girl would have been nothing to me either...I used to walk five miles uphill for fun. Now....Oh hell NO!!!
I told her no matter what pace I slowed to..to keep walking her pace and not stop for me...she kept watching me. Even though my vision blurred and the only sound I could hear was the wheezing of my lungs....I do need to quit smoking. SIGH. So I am painfully winded and slightly embarrassed my daughter is watching her mom crawl up this hill....not really crawl but you know what I am saying...it was hardly a good walking pace. I had to stop 5 times to breathe...as I was afraid I might hyperventilate. I didn't of course. And thankfully I did stretch a bit before we embarked, but damn. Sweat dripping heart pounding good old fashion exercise. So I made it to the top and just before the end of the downhill I slowly began to jog...this was a great sensation..my shins said hello..I will regret the final jog back home but it felt great for a moment. Okay, I won...I beat the damn hill, sadly it only means I must do it again to actually conquer the bitch! hahahaha...everyone have fun today...:D
