Sitting here wondering why you continue to plague me
Why you continue to put words in front of my face
Do you know I cannot stand you
Stand the things about you any longer

Maybe once upon a time
You could seduce me with your rhyme so intoxicating
But hearing that the words supposedly so special
Have been uttered to another set of ears
I am brought from the darkness I dwelt within
And thrown full force into the light
Made to see the actuality of events gone by
To hear the falsities beyond the words
To see you for you for once
Seeing the game you played is a lesson learned
Showing me that there are none to be trusted
Feeling like I have been taken back years
To the times when boys did anything for frantic touches
Panting breath and whispers of honeyed lies
I love you

I need you
you are my soul mate
What a joke within the words a woman longs to hear
And what a shame they are wasted out of filthy mouths
With cruel intentions and ignorance
They are muttered in this day and age
By some so young with no experience in life
No way to understand the intensity of the verbiage they spew
Including you
My heart shudders to think of the things I nearly lost
That I almost paid a cost far to great
For something so unreal and neverlasting
Someone that wasn't worth my time
Or the space it took to pen the words we said
It was a dream
A fantasy but I woke up
My eyes are wide open and all has been revealed
I am where I belong in the life God gifted to me
With those that need, love and cherish me
With the man who is more than a soul mate
He is EVERYTHING I need
Foolish in times of strife I faced
But no more will stupidity run my heart and mind
For now I see and think so clearly
Things were not as they had seemed
Now things are close to perfection
Pending removal of you
Spend your time whispering your fallicies to her
One who is intent on hearing them for I am not
Not anymore
not now
not ever again
So turn walk away don't even read again
