What are you waiting for?

Poem by my daughter....

My Daughter Beth wrote this for me when I left for Iraq: i love you daddy you don't know how much I'll miss you you'll never know how much it hurts me to watch you leave you'll never know... what it feels like to watch your sisters cry wondering if you'll come home or die mommy loves you like a brother and you're my dad there will be no other you got divorced when i was young and mommy just stuck out her tongue she hated you for years but now she's in tears because her best friends going out to war she watched you leave with his troop through the doubled-door and you'll never know... what if feels like to watch your sisters cry wondering if you'll come home or die mommy loves you like a brother and your my dad tere will be no other you said they'll try to take you away but you wont't let them 'cause you cant wait for the day to see me you won't let the bad guys take you away i thought you left because you didn't like me you had to go protect the country i wasn't gonna let you leave me and trust me it wasn't easy somewhere in me i have a clue that mybe one day i'll tell you... what it feels like to watch your sisters cry wondering if you'll come home or die mommy loves you like a brother, and you're my dad there is no other
