Goodbye
Tears ran down my face and on to my lips. He Gently wiped them away with his fingertips.
I looked up sadly in to his dark blue eyes. I tried really hard, but could not muffle my cries.
He held me tight in a strong embrace. I rested my head on his chest, and barried my face.
Our last embrace ended with a kiss. There was so much about him, that I knew I would miss.
As he walked away, I wondred my fate. With my only love in a faraway state.
Never Gone:
I light a match, and watch it burn.
I think of our love, I watch, I learn.
It starts with a spark, strong and intense, it burns for awhile; then becomes less dense.
The flames are gone, smoke hangs in the air.
Just as my love for you, still lingers there.
WHY:
After all the times you hurt me, the times you made me cry.
Why do I forgive you, with every little sigh?
The times that you betrayed me, and the times of painful good-byes, why do I still need you? After all those lies?
The times that you ignored me, and the times my pain has shown. Why do I still care for you, though you left me all alone?
With the scars you left upon me, and the tears that fall each day.
Why am I still in love with you, though you've treated me this way?

Close by the door, he paused to stand, as he slipped his class ring off her hand.
All who watched did not care to speak, as a single tear rolled down his cheek.
All through his mind memories ran, of all the times they once had had.
He held his class ring and started to cry; he kissed her cheek, and wanted to die.
As the wind began to blow, they lowered her casket below.
This is what happens to many alive, when friends let friends drink and drive.

As I gaze in to his eyes so dark. We sit there holding hands, in the dark.
I look at him, and know love is there.
And I hug him, telling him; how much I care.
We hold each other in a deep embrace.
I feel his warmth from touching his face.
The joy of hearing the words "I love you" knowing my dreams have now come true.
Things left unsaid:
He said " I don't love you anymore".
She said " then just leave me alone, and walk out the door".
He said, "I have found someone new."
She said, " Thanks for telling me, now that we're throught!"
He said, "I never really loved you, and I never really cared."
She said, " How could you act this way, with all the good times we shared?"
He said, " It wasn't good, it wasnt' ment to be."
She said, "How could you use me" as she Knelt upon her knee.
He said, "I'm leaving now, and I'm glad to see we're through" as he walked out she sat there and cried, what else was she to do.
