Why does life have to go by so fast?
It seems that only yesterday we were just beginning our childhoods.
Now we’re adults.
We work and never have time for friends or family.
We deal with everything that comes our way.
We have to be responsible for our actions.
But when we were kids, we could point our finger at someone else and yell “He did it!” and get called a tattle tell or hear “Liar, liar, pants on fire!” from our best friends.
We’d share secrets and say we’re best friends forever.
Now, secrets are few and far between and our best friend is most likely fucking either our boyfriends or the mailman.
Trust is hard to find in this society that is built up by lies.
We are all suppose to be treated as equals, but then everyone turns around and says life isn’t fair.
But death doesn’t care in what you are.
It doesn’t care who you are.
It’ll eventually take you and there’s no escape.
We are living only to die in this cruel society that is built up with our lies.
