Okay, so I'm going to an Open Mike Poetry Night thing tonight and I'm torn on whether to sign up for a slot or just watch, this first time. I've read my poetry in public before, just not at this place. So I'm wondering if I should be audacious and read (and if so which poem) or just watch this time. I'll prolly have time to read about 5 mins of poetry, and the ones I'd consider (except the 2 really long ones) are in my blog here: http://www.fubar.com/blog/103892.
So do you think I should: Yes, get brave and read (and if so which poem/s do you think I should do?) or No, just check it out and do the kind of poems I see others so there next time. |
